- How do I add email notifier?
- To add email notifier to your Tattoodle search page, simply click on the "Add Email Notifier" link on your search page.
- This will take you to a page where you can select your email provider and enter your user name and password for the selected email provider.
- Why should I get email notifier?
- If you have your email account with Yahoo, Gmail, or AOL, the Tattoodle email notifier alerts you if you have new email.
- To use email notifier, periodically refresh your browser. If you have any new emails, the notifier will indicate the number of new messages that you have received. Example:

- Simply click on the link to go to your email account.
- Is email notifier secure?
- Yes, it is very secure. The user name and password information that you provide is stored on an encrypted cookie on your computer. Tattoodle does not have access to your user name and password.
- I decided that I no longer want email notification. How do I get rid of it?
- You can terminate email notification by deleting your cookies. In Internet Explorer, click "Tools", followed by "Internet Options". Then in the "Browsing History" section, click "Delete", check "Cookies", and click the "Delete" button.
- In Firefox, click "Tools", followed by "Clear Private Data". You will then need to check "Cookies" and click the "Clear Private Data Now" button.
- When you return to the Tattoodle search page, you should see the generic "Email Notifier" link, rather than "Inbox(_)".
- I want to change the email account for which I receive notification. How do I do that?
- To change the email account, click on the "Change Email Notifier" link on your search page. This link appears below your Tattoodle design, so you may need to scroll down the page to see it. Then, select the desired email provider, enter your user name and password for that account, and click "Submit". Your change should then take effect.
- I came back to Tattoodle, and my email notifier is gone.
- It is possible that you deleted your cookies. If this is the case, you will need to once again set up email notifier by selecting your email provider and entering your user name and password.
- I have multiple email accounts. Will Tattoodle notify me of email in all of them?
- Unfortunately, we are currently set up to notify users in connection with a single email account. As a result, you should provide the user name and password of the email account that you use the most.
- I don,t see my email provider among those offered.
- Currently, we are only supporting Yahoo, Gmail, and AOL email.
- I'm noticing that my email notifier always shows "0" emails. Is there a problem?
- Certain email providers do not consider you to have new mail if you either check your email account or - importantly - receive your email on your mobile device, instant messenger, or through other means. As a result, if you receive an email on your mobile device, it will not show up in your email notifier as new email.
